Twofour Group’s factual and factual entertainment brands have been snapped up by key broadcasters around Europe.

Medialaan Belgium has bought a package of Twofour Group’s hit international brand Extreme Cake Makers and Twofour’s long running series The Hotel Inspector. Celebrating its 10th anniversary with Alex Polizzi at the helm and 14 seasons, the most recent series of the Hotel Inspector has rated more than 40% above slot average.

Both Extreme Cake Makers and The Hotel Inspector have also been sold to M6 France, whose high-volume acquisition of 56 hours includes international bestseller This Time Next Year, including two series of UK version, the US version and the Australia version.

Discovery Italy has also secured rights to air This Time Next Year. The hit format recently concluded production on its third season in the UK, having seen season two reach a peak performance with more than 3 million viewers.

Meanwhile Sky Italia will be airing a package of shows including Extreme Cake Makers, including a wedding special, World’s Most Expensive Presents and Hidden Restaurants.

In the Benelux, VRT Belgium has secured rights to air 6 x 60’ series Second Chance Summer and RTL Holland has licenced Give It A Year, Twofour’s brand new business time travel series with Baroness Karren Brady.

Discovery Spain has secured rights to air the latest series of Impossible Engineering 4. The new season will air in the US later this year.

Sales were brokered by Eniela Bella, Eniela said: “It’s incredible to see these titles resonate so well with our key buyers in Europe and testament to the strength and breadth of our burgeoning catalogue.”
