Virtual events are an economical, green and logistically convenient way of communicating globally.
A large global pharmaceutical required a means to come together to communicate, learn and share business messages. Twofour introduced the idea of ‘virtual events’ to the client, using a collaborative space online to carry out an event in real time.
Delegates registered for the event online. Once logged onto the event, delegates experienced a branded venue offering live and on-demand content and interaction. Features included a virtual briefcase to store assets, a conference hall for key note speeches, exhibition ‘halls’ for breakout content and conversations, and a resource centre. The solution caters for multiple languages and time zones.
Delegates were able to experience a new kind of event from their desks and participate in many ways. It was convenient and accessible for staff across the globe.
The client benefitted from significant cost savings – including venue, accommodation, catering and travel – as well as time savings for both organisers and delegates, who could avoid travel. This event also reduced carbon footprint.
698 people across 28 countries and 6 continents logged into the event. 84% of delegates said the virtual event was easy to navigate, 79% of delegates said it was an effective route to share brand plans and 81% would value using the platform again.
