Twofour produced a 5 x 60â€™ Channel 4 series, video rich website and social media campaign, charting the incredible transformation of an ordinary family home by filling top-to-bottom with futuristic technology and gadgets.
At the heart of the online offering lies a video rich website with behind the scenes videos, blogs and information. The films feature tech-loving Maddie Moate, who secured the presenting job with Twofour after applying via a YouTube competition.
Each week, as the broadcast episode aired, the Home of the Future web team would tweet live, releasing brand new video clips across each of the episode themes: rest, work, play, food and wellbeing.
The multiplatform offering allowed our audience to dip into conversation around the show whenever it suited them. The project, which was co-funded by E.ON, was Channel 4â€™s first advertiser funded series commissioned via the specialist factual department.
