God Save the Queens is a three-part series in which a stellar cast of musicians, actors and entertainers unravel the story of iconic camp performers and the role they have played in changing public attitudes towards homosexuality, often becoming national institutions along the way. Contributors include Cilla Black, Julian Clary, Ronnie Corbett, Boy George, Louie Spence, Paul O’Grady, Arlene Phillips and Alan Cumming, combined with compelling archive.

Commissioned by Clare Handford for Sky Atlantic and produced by Twofour, the series is executive produced by Andrew Mackenzie and Juliet Rice, and series produced by Ros Edwards.
