Twofour speeds up at Goodwood
26-06-2011
Audi has commissioned the company to provide a 12m TV screen – which is the largest temporary TV installation (of this new tile technology) in the whole of Europe – for its pavilion at the festival.
Adding to the complexity of the design the screen is completely unique because of its curvature.
The screen will show footage created by the Twofour Digital team showcasing the best of Audi.
Twofour also extend their offering to the company by providing on-demand video content for the Audi team to use instantly via their social networking sites.
Video coverage will include a range of Audi racing cars heading up the famous 1.16 mile hill climb, including an Auto Union Type D, Audi R8 LMS and the Audi R18 TDI sports prototype that raced in this year’s Le Mans 24 hours.
Paul Middleton from Twofour Digital said: “It’s a great honour for us to work with an iconic brand such as Audi at the world-famous Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Once you see all the amazing Audi footage on their 12m screen I don’t think you can help but be wowed.”
Hugh Fletcher, National Digital Manager for Audi UK, said: “We are always looking for new and innovative ways to showcase our cars and to improve our visitors’ experience at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
“With footage including our current range, motorsport, and our archive footage, the screen will not only add to the atmosphere inside the Audi pavilion, but will also bring our fantastic Brand and product range to life.”
A number of new Audi models will also be on display, including the R8 GT Spyder, of which only 33 will be coming to the UK, the new A1 and the RS 3 Sportback.
For Audi drivers there will be a VIP terrace, overlooking the famous hill climb and serving complementary cold drinks.
