Twofour closes sales across Europe and Latin America in run-up to NATPE Miami
Twofour is exhibiting at this yearâs NATPE Miami, where it willÂ build on a raft of recent sales to broadcasters across Europe, Canada and Latin America.
A deal has been inked with Sky Italia for a 20 hour package of factual and factual entertainment titles;Â Extreme Cake Makers (S1),Â Feeding The Super Rich,Â Inside Mandarin Oriental, The Worldâs Most Expensive PresentsÂ andÂ Born To Kill: Class of Evil, for its platform of channels.
Born To Kill: Class of Evil, has also been picked up by Bell Media, French Canada and The History Channel in Iberia. The spin-off collection is from the highly successful Born To Kill? brand which produced seven seasons and sold into more than 120 territories.
RMC Decouverte in France has acquired the rights to air new science and history factual seriesÂ Impossible Railways. Societe Radio-Canada has also secured the series for French-speaking Canada for their channel ICI EXPLORA, and Discovery Italy has licensed the show for Italy.
A deal has been finalised with Discovery Latin America for the high-volume dating series,Â Strip Date, which sees singletons go through a radical makeover in a bid to find a suitable partner.
Meanwhile, the latest special from luxury lifestyle brand,Â The Worldâs Most Expensive PresentsÂ has found a home with RTL Nederland, and Medialaan in Belgium.
The deals were secured by VP of Sales EMEA and Latin America, Eniela Bella, as she prepares to attend NATPE in Miami (Booth 204) offering a diverse slate of formats and finished shows in a catalogue that numbers over 1000 hours of content.
Priorities will include theÂ Born To Kill?Â brand titles, boasting more than 60 hours in total, factual miniseriesÂ SinkholesÂ (3 x 60â) which hears the incredible stories of the people who have survived this often deadly phenomena, a bumper offering of 46 episodes of cake masterpieces inÂ Extreme Cake Makers, and popular science and history brand,Â Impossible EngineeringÂ which has already been licensed to more than 120 territories worldwide.
Format wise, the company has recently concluded numerous format commissions and recommissions across its burgeoning slate of titles including âtime travelâ phenomenon,Â This Time Next Year, which has been recommissioned for two further series in the UK, a second season in Australia and is currently in production across 14 territories worldwide.Â Also in the time travel genre,Â Change Your Tune transforms some of the nationâs worst singers in an instant to give awe-inspiring performances; business format,Â Give It A YearÂ follows the critical first 12 months for budding entrepreneurs and delivers instant reveals of what happened next.Â What Would Your Kid Do? entertains and informs in equal measure, as parents try and guess what their child will do in a variety of set up situations.
